2012 in a nutshell.

This has been one of the best and happiest years for me by far. New experiences, unforgettable memories, friendships that were new, rekindled and/or made stronger, life changing realizations, a change of appearance, and a taste of independence. 2012 is the year that I know I've definitely grown the most physically, mentally and emotionally. Here's to the end of a new beginning.

2013 Resolutions

Like I said in my "Happy December" post, I planned on keeping the same goals because I wanted to continue what I was doing. I deleted what I know I successfully did accomplish this year, but also added new ones. New Year, new goals!

School wise:
- 4.0 GPA
- No skipping class unless necessary
- Make flash cards for every exam
- Focus
- Spend less, study more

Physical:
- Take care of my skin
- Clear my face (even more)!
- Gym every other day
- Weight goal: 100-110
- Lose my stomach fat
- Better posture
- Control my diet
- And my weight

Things to stop:
- Eating junk food
- Cussing
- Spending money so recklessly
- Partying

Emotional:
- More positive outlook
- Learn how to deal on my own
- Don't become dependent on anyone

I'm in Temecula!

The first two people to hit me up was my best friend and cousin.

Janelle and I hopped on that Tea Time bandwagon for a late lunch! I was wondering how so many people found out about it since it was located in a small area. When we walked in we felt like noobs because we didn't know if we had to wait to be seated or if we sit down ourselves. Lol. I pictured the place to be bigger than it was, but it was cute. We both ordered honeydew boba -- It was her first time! Along with that, I also got fried chicken and sweet butter toast while Janelle got the spicy popcorn chicken. It was pretty good, and portioned very well! They won't be hearing any bad reviews from me! I also ran into Kriza! It's always nice seeing familiar faces around.

Afterwards, I headed to Escondido to meet up with Grace. We did some shopping where she was luckier in finding new apparel than me. I've become too picky with what I buy these days. I want to say that it's a good thing though because it helps me second guess if it's really worth it or not. Self control! I also really wanted to see Kyle, but sadly his store was already closed by the time I got around to it. Once the mall started to close we went to have Bj's for dinner. Great white pizza, Angus sliders and a white chocolate pizookie! For such a small order, their service took a bit too long to me. However, as long as it's good and fulfilling, it's always worth the wait. We ate it all! "One last hoorah" Hopefully I'm able to see her again soon.

I'm glad that the first two people I got to see were the ones that I'm closest to. I wouldn't have started this visit off any other way. My cousin and best friend >>>

Impatiently waiting

Seasonal work has come to an end, and now this is the part where I have to wait for the jury to reach a verdict. Will they keep me or will they let me go? And here I thought waiting for the follow up call after a job interview took forever. The suspense is killing me.

Glad I have someone to call my best friend.

I spent the last three days catching up with Janelle. You would think that after two years out of high school with a friendship like ours we would have drifted already, but we've never had to talk everyday in order to maintain it, and I'm glad.

I haven't seen her for about two months, and I miss her. I wish my schedule permitted me a bit of a gap to visit Temecula for a few days.

Well, I'm just really glad to still have her around and able to call her my best friend. Four years and counting!

Fall '12 semester complete!

Finals were definitely difficult for me to get through. I was in a good mindset to start studying for them three weeks before hand though, because all of mine were cumulative. I also worked almost everyday this week (mostly closing shifts I might add), so needless to say that I was stressed and exhausted. School, work, studying, coffee and late nights pretty much summarizes the last three weeks of my life.

On a brighter note, I'm glad to say that I did well this semester! I was hoping for all A's, but my Anatomy grade unfortunately remained within the high B range. Sadly, even getting a 100% on my final wouldn't have done anything. I'm happy though. It turned out to be a good semester.

Now begins my three week break before Winter session!

Back on track

I finally went grocery shopping that was very much needed. In November, I was in a bit of a slump and my eating habits took a downward spiral. I'm making my comeback now though! It's back to eating healthy, portioning and working out for me :)

Happy December

Only one more month until a brand new year. I was reading my 2012 resolutions today and realized that I achieved a good majority of them! I've decided to keep the same goals for this upcoming year so that I can continue what I'm doing, and it would also give me a chance to accomplish what I wasn't able to do this year. Cheers to the last month of 2012!
